Information on the preparatory courses for the DSH / TestDaf / preparatory course exam

The DSH (German language test for university admission of foreign applicants), TestDaf (Test of German as a Foreign Language) and study college-preparatory courses are for students wishing to study in Germany and need proof of your German language skills at an advanced level.

To enter, you should have completed approximately 600 lessons in German as a foreign language.

The DSH, TestDaf and study college-preparatory courses are conducted by Dr. Umit Ozen (owner of SÜZ). Apart from special materials for the training of the individual linguistic skills and DSH examinations of different universities in recent years are used. It will be performed specific exercises that can assist in the distribution of time during deposition of the real DSH. The course ends with a DSH sample test so that each participant may have to test the level of his knowledge of German. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate.

Course contents:

  • Grammatically: combination of B2 and C1 - nominalization, verbalized, participle, passive, active, passive, indirect speech subjunctive I, subordinate clauses in semantic terms used as a function
  • Reading and listening comprehension: Current articles / texts from different fields
  • Discussions and presentations on current topics
  • Events - for example Trip to Munich, sporting activities, dances

What you need to apply for a student visa:

  • Confirmation of receipt (of course should be longer than three months, otherwise a tourist or visitor visa sufficient, which is usually not renewable)
  • Health insurance
  • Proof of financial status: blocked account, undertaking or bank guarantee
  • For students: under certain circumstances a provisional or conditional approval of a university or college in Germany
  • Application form for visa
  • A valid passport
